Fixing the Problem
Helical Foundation Piers
Helical foundation piers are made from strong, steel materials. They resemble a screw and they’re actually “screwed” into the earth surrounding your home. They will be installed in stable soil that will be able to withstand the weight of your home. After these piers are installed, the weight of your home will be transferred onto them, and over time, this will put a stop to the settlement and your home will be raised back up to the level where it should be.
Push Piers
Push piers are also made from steel materials and they’re installed in stable soil around your home. They are hydraulically-pushed deep into the soil, and no heavy machinery or equipment is needed for installation. Also, no serious digging will be needed for the job. This means that your family’s lawn and landscaping won’t be destroyed. As time passes, these push piers will be able to push your home back to where it needs to be.
